- Les Schwab's Steve Scott, left, exchanges a handshake and a certificate of purchase with customer Larry Storment, the first customer in the tire store's new facility. The new building opened Monday.
Les Schwab Tire Center in Hermiston opened the doors to itsĀ new 11,000-square-foot building on Monday. The new building will help streamline the business and make the tire center more efficient, according to assistant manager Dave Shockman.
Everything’s indoors and laid out a lot more efficient, Shockman said.
With the new building finished and open for business, Shockman said the next phase of the project will be tearing the old building down.
The alignment center and the old store will go away, Shockman said. It should be done by the first of July.
Demolition is scheduled to begin June 8 to make room for more customer parking.
