Stephanie Burkenbine and Rafael Flores of Hermiston are announcing their engagement.

Stephanie is the daughter of Allen and Velvet Burkenbine of Ajo, Arizona, and Raylene Powers of Sayre, Oklahoma. She is a 2006 graduate of Ajo High School. She is employed with the Hermiston Herald.

Rafael is the son of Jose Rafael Flores and Irene Sanchez of Hermiston. He graduated from Blue Mountain Community College-Hermiston. He works for Calbee North America.

The couple will be married at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston at a date to be announced.
