Art About Agriculture, an annual exhibition of agriculture-themed artwork coordinated by Oregon State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences, is holding an open call for artists to participate in its 2021 exhibition.
The submission deadline for the competitive, juried exhibition is April 4, according to a news release. The show is scheduled to open for viewing with limited occupancy June 4 at Giustina Gallery in the LaSells Stewart Center on Oregon State’s Corvallis campus.
Artists from the Pacific Northwest, who work in all visual art mediums and styles, are invited to submit art about agriculture.
Art About Agriculture was established in 1983 at the College of Agricultural Sciences as an agricultural-themed arts competition and touring exhibit. Purchased artwork from this year’s show will be added to the permanent collection, featuring 379 works by 229 artists.
