The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently announced that the Plymouth Day Use Area is closed for the season, effective Aug. 29.

The closure allows the Corps to conduct maintenance as a result of vandalism. Anyone with knowledge of the vandalism should contact the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at 509-783-1310 or 509-735-6555

The day use area normally closes Sept. 15. For questions about the closure, call John Day Ranger Office at 541-739-1135.
