- The Columbia Basin Student Homebuilders Program will host an open house featuring this year’s student-built home through the Career Technical Program. The free event is June 20, 2024, 3-6 p.m. at 855 SW Angus Court, Hermiston.
HERMISTON — The Columbia Basin Student Homebuilders Program is hosting an open house on Thursday, June 20, 3-6 p.m. at 855 SW Angus Court in Hermiston.
The event provides an opportunity for the community to see the 2024 student-built home, a project that high school students from Hermiston, Stanfield and Umatilla have worked on through the Career Technical Program. According to a press release, students have been actively involved with every aspect of the home’s creation, including concept and design, as well as the construction, landscaping and oversight.
The 2,383-square-foot home features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an office and a large open great room. In addition, it has a three-car garage with one oversized bay.
